Take the flywheel and measure the torque convertor bolt pattern and tooth count, or you can look it up in a parts book. You'll probably find that the balance, tooth count and bolt patterns matches other SBFs. The current one may work for both trans anyway.

I disassembled a 351C with approximately 8000 miles on a Rolon chain. It was worn worse than the one I pulled from my 5.0L at 163,000 miles. Look on the chain links and avoid any that say Rolon.
