WebIt should work. Gothic 1 and 2 are old games and there is a chance that there will be some troubles with them but you can always find some fixing apps. I had a problem with Gothic 2 that no matter what I did in settings, resolution in game always was 800/600. Simple screen fix from first link on Google did a job. You can always get refund on Steam.
