WebNov 14, 2024 · Yes, basically legendary items have an expiration date, it's called "sunsetting". They will last aprox one year. Any gear with a grey icon in your inventory has passed their expiration date. Bungie created this system to keep players grinding without having to create new loot. Open the item you wish to raise the power level of, then mouse over the infusion button. You’ll see a list of all items in your inventory from that slot.
